Hi Everyone!
I'm hoping that I don't have any carry over sodium weight gain from the Japanese restaurant last night. This has happened before. We'll see. I've been having some hormonal insomnia. TTOM is getting ready to start. I always do this. I have noticed that I seem to get restless in the early morning hours (at night). I have also found that over all, I get more sleep if I go to bed early. I am going to get to bed right after my post. Have a good evening and sleep well.
Rennie Thanks for getting another thread going for us.

Good Morning and TGIF! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Calories for yesterday: 1440 +
Weigh In: 147.6
No Change
Maybe I won't be having any extra sodium gain from the Japanese restaurant. I'm still waiting on TTOM, though. I'll fight my battles, one at a time, thank you very much.

Hey folks not all the way awake yet!
A small bounce today, up 1 to 161. Sigh, these things happen.
I wanted to hold onto the new low going into the weekend because I'm expecting a bigger bounce tomorrow: we're visiting an Ethiopian restaurant tonight, and I'm sure I will bloat a bit after that. It used to be one of our favorite haunts, but I have been there only once or maybe twice since I started my weight loss process. It's just too easy to overeat there. I picked it for tonight because my partner just finished a grant proposal that has been a source of constant stress for 2 months - I wanted to choose something truly special that I knew she was missing because of my process. I have a plan - I know how I'm going to change my order from "the usual" and how I am going to approach eating it - I just have to execute.
Anyway. I have had a good on-plan week and solidly seen a new low this week, so I think I can fit in the Ethiopian place without too much damage. I just have to be patient with any bounce I might see because of it...
Good luck and good strength for Friday and the weekend, all.

Good Morning Everyone
Thank you for all your great support! It's because of this group that I decided to not give up yesterday. I talked to my husband and I decided I wasn't going to stay mad at myself. Allowing myself to feel defeated would have given me an excuse to eat more! So, I forgave myself and moved on. Only 1250 calories yesterday, I got a workout in, and drank bunches of water....so today I was a pound down! (223.4) I just learned I can have a slump and then pick myself up and keep going
love2b150 you must be so proud of your daughter Chelle! I'm sure she'll be so happy when she finally gets your pile of letters! Thank you for your support
Diana thanks for your encouragement, and please feel free to just use QT in the personals, so much easier than the whole thing- my real name is Kelly, I plan on putting that in my signature once I'm allowed to have one

I didn't have a chance to weigh-in today, which really is a bummer because I have a feeling I might be 165lbs now. After my workout yesterday I weighed 166.0lbs so I'm hoping tomorrow I might see 165lbs.
How's everyone else been doing?

Thanks for getting another thread going Rennie.
I'm down 0.9 this morning to 193.3. Glad to see things moving again, especially while being on antibiotics - typically I gain with medication. It's going to be on heck of a crazy workday, so I better get to it. At least at the end of it, I can relax and have a weekend *insert extra long sigh here*
Have a great day ladies!

Happy Friday, all.
I think I started the month at 165 and now I'm at 158.6. A week ago, I was sure I wouldn't get below 160 so I'm pleasantly surprised. In fact, when I saw the .6, I thought I had gone down just .2 from the prior 159.8. When I realized it was 158.6, I laughed out loud!
Tomorrow is the first Saturday of tax season so I'll be working all day. We have a big deli spread for lunch every Saturday, with all sorts of chips and treats as well. My desk is 10 feet from the kitchen so it's going to be hard to resist. I'll have to keep reminding myself that these will not be the last Doritos ever.
Carter, forgive my ignorance: what sorts of dishes would one find at an Ethiopian restaurant?
