Does anyone have plans for the weekend? I will cook dinner tomorrow and go do a little shopping. I want to look at the new Spring clothes coming out.

Angie I can't wait to hear all about the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. I mentioned that I want to go there one day. I am excited for you. I hope your weigh in went well for you. Got my fingers crossed for you. I started TTOM early and it has been a pain in my butt ever since. It's a lot better now than it was. I contribute it getting better to losing weight, although it may be an age thing, too. My Mom stopped around 40. I was hoping to stop early, too.

Carter Sending you some Stay strong. You can do it.

AKA You had a considerable drop. That bounce isn't too bad.

Suzukigurl Congrats on the 2 pounds.

Kukkie i hope you can get some R and R this weekend.

QT I hope your DH is feeling better. Sending healing thoughts your way.

Unstoppable Congrats on the .8.

Weigh in was okay today or yesterday...Friday -I was down .6 so not too bad and the wheat I ate did not impact me as I expected. we went to Applesbees tonight and I had the roasted garlic steak entree (478 calories) with a starter ceasar salad. I just woke up and I feel like I have sausage fingers, so we'll see how that turns out. I'm not sleeping well because Cam is in my bed tonight and I can't seem to get into a deep sleep.

Diana - sorry about your gain, I hope it was just sodium! I'm looking forward to that hotel too, i checked out their restaurants and I think I would be better to go exploring to find more options! Lots of pasta and fried things.

Amanda - sorry to see your bounce!

Kelly - I'm sure you'll see a nice whoosh once TOM is gone and everyone is well again...hang in there!

Carter - What's the countdown to India at now? How long will you be away? I feel like when I got into onederland in September that it might have been a little too unbelievable to me and subconsciously I wasn't able to reconcile that, and that led to control issues fOr me over the holidays. Do you think that being in the 150s could be having a similar effect on you?

Unstppable - great job this month!

Steph - congrats on the dresses fitting better than you thought!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Has anyone tried the new Starbuck's Blonde Roast (Willow) coffee? Dang! That's some good stuff!

Calories for yesterday: 1465 +
Weigh In: 145.0
Down: .8

It looks like it was just a sodium gain from Olive Garden. I am being pessimistically optimistic.

Angie Great job on working your way back down. I didn't look at their restaurant menus. Ok, I just looked! Since I like seafood, it would be a little easier for me. I did see a nice roasted chicken and grilled pork chops along with the beef entrees. I think their restaurants are doable, but also very tempting. Are you going there for work? Do they allow you expenses for food? I noticed that their food is high, but it's probably good quality, too. Will you have time to swim? They have a very nice looking indoor pool. http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylord...cid=GenL-pools

Goos morning folks.

Angie - thanks for the thoughts. The trip is just 4 days away now, and I'll be gone almost 3 weeks. I have quite a bit of work to get done in that time too, and I am definitely in a ratcheted state of anxiety about all of this. (Last night I dreamed that I was in India, did a tour activity, and then missed my train to the next destination.). So I suspect that is the reason my control is shot - my brain can only hold so much at once, and exercising discipline when you are a recreational eater like me takes a lot of brainpower!

But wow, is my control shot. Le sigh - if it was a psychological effect of being in the 150s, it ain't anymore - insert wry grin here - I'm up at 161 today.

Also - I should cut myself some slack - my period is coming sometime between now and the day I leave. I always have control problems and water retention then, a double whammy.

Okay folks, I'm off - last round of shopping for stuff I need (including presents to bring to the friend I am visiting) and actual laying out of all items for packing scheduled for today!

Good luck and good strength, all.

Down .8 today to 211.2 -- almost back to Feb 1! I feel like I'm still retaining water though, so I bought some asparagus today while shopping, and I'll be back on my very low carb strategy for at least a few days.

Diana -- Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I do get to expense food, but I have a daily limit to keep in mind, so I have to be careful, but it's still generous enough to allow me to eat well while I'm there. I think some of the meals will be provided by the company hosting the conference, probably a couple of lunches anyway. The pools look very nice! I can see ending my days there, hopefully they will stay open fairly late.

Unstoppable -- Not bad after a night out!

Carter -- Yes, I think you need to give yourself some slack too...pre vacation can be stressful, and exciting in a weirdly off putting way. lol @ your dream, I'd say that's indicative of a little anxiety. I dreamed last night that I ate a bunch of easter sugar cookies...lol. It was almost as good as actually eating them -- the dieting version of a wet dream. Happy packing today!

Kelly - HOpe you feel better.

HealthyMe -- Good job on your .6

Today was good until I got to my dad's for dinner...the menu was ham, scalloped potatoes and cheesecake...lol -- good luck finding something on plan in that! I'm on track for calories, way over on sodium of course and fat is through the roof. Ahh well, the rest of the day was brilliant and we finally got some snow, so I shoveled for a bit this afternoon. I prefer that kind of more natural exercise over actually working out...yard-work, walking, hiking, house cleaning even!

I've just heard about Whitney Houston passing away, how sad, just when she seemed to be pulling things together.

Trying to get down as low as possible. My bday is on the 16th and we will be celebrating on the 17th. I can't believe this. I am almost in the 150s. A weight that I've been trying to get to since my teenage years. I am super stoked today ladies. Sorry for the rant.

Have a wonderful Sunday ladies. Stay on plan. We can do this. And always remember consistency brings results.

Good Morning, Everyone!

I though TTOM had left the building, but it hasn't. It has still been hanging around, although, just barely. I think today is 2 weeks.

I had a lot of sodium yesterday from a Wendy's Single at lunch, and dinner was a BLT and soup. My calories and sodium were higher than normal.

Calories for yesterday: 2115 +
Weigh In: 146.4 (TTOM still hanging on for dear life)
Up 1.4 pounds

ugh.

I suppose I did sleep last night but I don't feel as though I did - I don't feel rested at all. Too much tossing and turning and brain-churning. Just a few more days of this, I hope ...

Anyway, I stayed on plan yesterday, which is something - no snack binges. I weighed in at 160 this morning, down 1 from yesterday, still 2 up from my current low and still up from the beginning of the month. I am not delighted with this but I suppose it could be worse.

Hope things are well with all of you!

Hey all,

I had a good weigh in this morning, 154.6, I'm hoping to stay below 155 but I've been doing a lot of bouncing lately. Busy season at work is wreaking havoc with my exercise and food plans but I feel like I've been doing a pretty good job of staying with the program. I'm not always making the best choices but I'm not letting myself get totally derailed.

carter, I hope you have a great trip. It sounds really exciting!

Here's to all of us having a good week this week.
