I can't lose 100 pounds....but, just maybe I can lose five pounds twenty times.

He knows what my highest was... I don't tell him where I'm at now cause he hasn't asked and I feel like I don't wanna tell him untill I'm into Onederland. Having a 1 instead of a 2 might be less of a shock to him.

Haha once I was talking about making a goal or setting a goal or SOMETHING and I announced my current weight out loud by accident. I was so embarrassed but he didn't really react one way or the other.

Really, I'm kind of happy that happened because now I can announce my weight every day and we celebrate together

My husband is 6' and 165 lbs so he doesn't really have a concept of what weight looks like. I think he thought I weighed maybe in low 200s at my highest :P

My partner gets glimpses of it...I think last she checked I was at 235 (I've gained a lot of weight the last six months unfortunately. ) We've been together officially about two years and some change and have been engaged for a while as well, and diet and exercise have been big points of contention in our relationship. She's always been more health conscious and is a lot more stressed about keeping her weight down - and to be honest it's been hard to watch since I weight nearly eighty pounds more than her! I'm trying to put down my jealousy and work for myself now. She's great and really supportive, so I guess that's all I can ask for.

Obviously he knows I am overweight but I don't feel good right now about saying the number and him going DANG you weigh more than me??! And then I would feel awful about it and not exactly be able to change it overnight. I'd rather first get to a better spot and its easier for me to tell him in hindsight.
I don't see anything wrong with that
and he too understands that I'd rather not say right now. He is perfectly understanding of that too...

just wanted to clarify on that one!
We are all different and its great when someone wants to share that number with their partner, but also I think its ok if one isn't comfortable sharing either.
i can empathize with you a lot here. its not so much a numerical thing as it is a comparison thing. my BF doesnt care how much i weigh, he'll never ask, but i weigh a lot more than him so it would astound him lol.

even my doctors are surprised when im weighed at their office. i dont look my weight, im 6 feet tall, big boned and solid, i carry it well. well, as well as you can carry it i suppose.

he doesnt know, no. and he wont. ill tell him my accomplishments and maybe the start weight when i reach my goal weight haha.
