Hello new and old friends.
I fell away from the site, largely because I got busy. I got down to 145 pounds last Summer and currently stand at 165. I still go to the gym daily but I've struggled getting the diet under control. I started seeing my high school sweet heart again after TWENTY TWO years! And I have been enjoying feeding him.
LOL! He lost weight...I gained it. He's a pilot and has a pretty horrible diet on the road, so when he comes home he enjoys my homemade, healthy meals. But as has always been my problem, I tend to eat too much of a good thing.
It has taken me several months to figure out the problem, but I seem to be on a roll again now. It hasn't been from lack of trying! But I have been trying to get the pounds down by starving myself, and I just kept gaining. Plus, when I starve myself, eventually chocolate wins, and that's never good.
So right now, I am eating six mini meals a day, just like I used to, and I have cut out the chocolate. I'm down three pounds this week, and I hesitate just a little to celebrate that. I've done that several times since Summer, but it always comes back, usually with a few friends. This time though, I feel like I'm back to my old myself.
I have recently discovered the most wonderful evening snack in the world! True comfort food! Hot chocolate.
I've been drinking half chocolate soy and half regular soy for a total of about 75 delicious calories. I love it.
I have to get this weight off, as much as I can. I have a wedding dress to buy in March.
