Default Almost breaking 220

I've finally really started on the weight loss journey. I've been on this site for awhile and have moaned and groaned about not knowing how to get motivated to start. But I've finally started modifying my diet and exercising 3 times a week. The diet is definitely the harder part. My starting weight was 230, and I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 222.6! I couldn't believe it. I'd actually made a little bit of progress. But now I'm worried about screwing it up. I so want to break 220 because I feel like that will mean that I'm really on the right track. But usually when I get this close I do something to mess it up. I'm so worried that I'm not going to make it. Or if I do then I'll bounce back up to over 220. Not really sure what I'm asking or if I'm just ranting. But I soooo want to make it. Fingers crossed.

You have all the weapons you need. Now fight!"

I am at the exact same spot as you. Don't worry, We can do this. I have to get through Friday. Today is my hardest day. If I can make it through every Friday without running out for lunch, I can power through the rest of the week!

C'mon girl! Power through! We will see the 2-teens soon.

Alias-you're on the right track. Just keep doing what you have been and it will fall into place. Try not to stress on the negative. See the glass half full and your attitude will turn toward the positive. You lost 8 pounds and will continue to lose. If you mess up, well, just fix it IMMEDIATELY. Did you get that? Don't wait even a day. Just make a good choice next time. The only failure is quitting. Nothing to fear.

Speaking from experience, you can do this in a lot less time than you think and a year from now you'll be so glad you started when you did. Today is one year for me, so I know what you can do with determination and support.

You might like to join the threads dedicated to getting out of each 10 pound "number." It can really help you stay on plan for 10 pounds at a time.

You can do this. It gets easier.

You can do this, don't over-think it and psych yourself out. Keep up the good work!
