I'm joining in a bit late.
I want to be down to 210. I haven't been there since I was in college. (that's like 16 years ago) *sigh*

Well I'm down 6lbs since starting the challenge, another 6 to go to meet the challenge.
Hows your challenge going?

Kitty

Great going Jeanne doing the challenge in record time!

I am coming in late in the game...but my Easter goal is to be down 8 more pounds by Easter (lofty, I know) -- which would put me at 280.

Peace,
Paula

Default Down a few thanks to the flu!

I'm at 226 almost down to my goal, but that's because I've had the flu for the past three days, which has left me unable to eat anything and feeling a little woozy.

So, I'm not going to celebrate thinking this is real weight loss, and I know once I am able to digest anything more than fluids, I'll gain some of the weight back. What I am hoping is that when I stabilize early next week, it'll be less than the day when I got the flu (234).

Congratulations to everyone out there who is showing results! This forum is a wonderful place to come and share good (and not so good) experiences.

Bye for now -- back to bed. I'm So-o-o tired.

i haven't lost any since i made my goal. in fact, i've gone up 3. eep.

since i am getting back on track, i am going to make a more reasonable goal starting from today. i'm at 218, i want to see 210 by april 20th. that's 8 pounds in a month... still kinda steep but i am determined!!

Default Down 3 pounds...or up 5!

Well, now that I'm back with solid foods, I weighed today and I'm 231. Not as low as last Friday, but 3 pounds lighter than before I got the flu. It was hard seeing the scale go above the "230" mark, but I know that last week was just an anomaly and not countable. And I'm learning not to beat myself up -- in the past, this would have been a great excuse to just blow the whole program. Not so this time, thanks to this forum.

Maybe next week I'll be under the 230 mark! And I think my Easter goal of 224 (under the 225 mark) is do-able. I just need to keep focused.

Next week's goal is to not only watch my food intake, but get back to walking at least three days.

I'm down to 5.4 left to my Easter Goal! I think I even managed to evade a major meltdown at the middle school lock-in I did tonight. Now it's off to meet a friend for breakfast, and to lead a workshop.

hellloooo everyone!!!

my goal was 210 for april 18th (good friday and coincidentally, my 19th birthday ). that would require me to lose at least 20 - 25 pounds in less than a month, which seems highly unlikely.

SO, I will make my challenge this:

TO COMMIT MYSELF TO MY GOALS of eating healthy, exercising, and drinking plenty of water (which I've been doing quite successfully for a long time now ) and in the process, i should lose at least 10 pounds.

Congrats to all of you for challenging yourselves!!!

good wishes and peace,

dorcia

Well I don't think you can get later then me, but I want to be in the 260's by easter. That means a small loss, but it is the hardest one, it seems, for me. So that will be my goal.

Well, I've gained since I posted my last message. So now I have nine pounds to lose to reach my Easter goal. I think there's about four weeks left, so I still have hope

I am going to revise my goal to make it a bit harder. It was to be at 280 by Easter, but I am now at 283, so I am pretty sure I will be at 280 before then (I pray). So my new goal is to be at 275 by Easter -- it IS pretty tough, but I am very determined.

Peace,
Paula

it's when you go away.. far away from family - we are going for 2 nights (there will be almost 35 woman all together) to a retreat. We scrap all weekend - my idea of heaven!!
There will be a kitchen in our suite - so that should help!
