Default Questions

I'm trying to figure out if it is ok for me to be "here". I have not lost 100 pounds yet...but I'm on my way.

I'm looking for a forum for support and accountability along the way. I've lost 44 pounds now (started in August) and have over 100 to go.

I have some health concerns, which was the catalyst for my weight loss this time around. I had a heart cath and stent in August 2011, and it put some prospective in my life!! With an 11 year old special needs boy depending on me, I needed to make a change...and I did.

Anyway, would love to join you all on this journey, if you don't mind.

This is for anyone who needs to lose 100 or more pounds! I'm sure anyone is welcome here, though! Good luck on your journey! Got any plans? Non scale goals?

I think this forum is for any who already has or needs to lose 100 or more pounds. I lost almost 50 before joining this forum, and have 63 to go.

Congrats on you 44 pounds lost! Wishing you success on your weight loss and health gain.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if you had to have lost 100 pounds to join or what the board was for. Now I know!

Yep to whatever one else said!

If I get down to my final goal I'll reach 100lbs but I'm not 100% sure if I'll stop there so I might end up losing something like 95lbs at the end. We'll have to see. That being said I've found there are different struggles when you have 20lbs to lose vs. 100lbs so I've found the support and knowledge here absolutely invaluable. Join in and I hope you get a lot out of it!

I'm sure everyone supports anyone on here in any board they want if it gives you support in any way. I'm over 40, but find interesting things on the 20s board all the time.

Welcome! The 100 pound thing is just a point of reference. I've found that most of us have similar challenges with this amount of weight and that's what ties us together. But anyone can post in any thread or sub-forum. And all insight and opinions are welcome. You'll get lots of support here.
