Default I've never wanted December to end so freaking much!

I've never wanted January and normalcy to return so quickly. Last year I would have been depressed as the holidays would end and boring winter would continue on.

Now I just want to be done with the holiday parties and platters of food every day from everywhere.

I just had my last "holiday" meal though for lunch and YAY it's over.

That is all...

Agreed, seconded and passed.

I feel exactly the same. I am looking forward to work on Tuesday and eating my diet breakfast/lunch and snacks. I'm so over the holidays. I managed to avoid the cookies and treats, but I definitely overate the regular foods and the holiday specialty foods. Diet--bring it on!

I felt/feel exactly the same way! Endless office parties, holiday luncheons and people bringing in left-overs from their personal parties, and holiday "treats" left out to make me sad (I don't eat sugar or processed flour so I don't partake - that doesn't mean I don't WANT to partake which in turn just frustrates me and makes me long for my fat days.

I am even happy(ish) to be back at my office after an 11 day staycation because now I am back in my routine: I bring all my food for the day with me, very regimented and everything dutifully accounted for. At home I was grabbing an almond here and there and maybe an extra piece of fruit or what have you. Even though I didn't go off my allowable food list, I still overdo it when my routine is disrupted. So glad for January!

Ditto for me. I had gotten to my goal of 175 and even lower. Was to 171.2. Then I started to eat carbs with all the holiday goodies. I don't usually eat simple grains and sugars. Well, I gained 14 pounds I 17 days and I wasn't even binging!!! Ugh! I still have orthodox Christmas and my husbands Birthday on the 7th, but I'm so over it, I don't even think I'll be tempted by any more goodies.

I couldn't agree with you all more. I'm a teacher and don't go back to work until the 9th. I'm not complaining about that, but all this free time and leftover holiday treats at home are not helping my cause. I'm ready to go back to my routine!!!
