This morning I am grateful for

+ the white amaryllis that is in glorious bloom

+ a very mild day yesterday so I got the decks and stairs clear of snow and slush

+ de-Christmassing is continuing in an orderly manner

+ the dogs joined me in bed last night but I did get back to sleep

+ a normal but busy week ahead

+ I'll be 73 on Saturday but feel in my 50's without menopause!

+ financial stability - Thanks Chloe!

+ seed catalogues - dream reading!

Welcome and yes, we love everyone joining in. I personally get a lot out of reading everyone else! For me, I get up looking forward to this thread. It helps me a lot. Probably the single most inspiring thing that has come from this site.

I know the feeling of

I am grateful for plans with friends this week and even some of my appointments.
I am grateful for the schedule of homework - helps me feel productive in uncertain times.
I am grateful for my dog.
I am grateful for my sister.
I am grateful for new recipes that I love trying!

Have a great day today.

This is one of those downer mornings when I woke way too early and lay there fretting. However, I am grateful for:

+ my Keurig which soothed me with Irish Cream flavoured coffee

+ my darling dogs who are happy to see me no matter what my mood

+ discovering the leaky pipe in the cellar before damage was done

+ being able to help out Ernie as he deals with his mother who is terminally ill

+ finding things to be grateful for even when I'm in a bit of a downer mood

........ This too shall pass.

Chloe - hope you are feeling better today.

- I met Rachel's surgeon & it went well

- time spent with my cousin, Erica, who came in from out of town to go to the surgeon's office too. She is wonderful.

The gratitude can always be harder when I am down and probably when most needed. I hope your day gets better, I know too well what that type of morning feels like.

...a working car, a house, my father
...a job, even if it is only part-time now
...no huge debt
...progress in homework
...much of my job work done yesterday
...bulk/bargain grocery stores
...post-it notes
...hot shower
...patience and compassion for myself

Have a wonderful Tuesday!
