Talking 2012 Distance Challenge! (500 Miles in 1 year)

Hi All! In the middle of 2011 I created a thread called 365 miles in 365 days. For 2012 I am ready to bump it up a notch and make an even larger goal!

On average you will need to get in 10 miles per week or close to 42 miles a month!

You can count your miles in any fashion:
Swimming, biking, walking, running, eliptical, steps, etc!

So I guess the next question is...who is down for the challenge??

I am in. What a great challenge. It is totally do able. I did 555 in 2011. I started in June and worked my way up to 3 miles per day. Some days I do more but I do at least 3 per day.

I'm back to working out after gain 60 pounds back so I'm in on the challenge so far last 10 pounds in 3 weeks do time for me to get on a roll.

Count me in! I'd like to run 500 miles this year, and if it's more, even better.

I'd also like to run my first 1/2 marathon this year.

I like this challenge as well. Let's see how many I can get in a year! I'll update on the weekends.

Total 2012 Miles: 7.065

Week 1: 0.000 miles
Week 2: 0.000 miles
Week 3: 7.065 miles (I'm done for the week. Not bad for a first week for me lol).

I just got back from a 3 mile walk with my daughter and my dog. I didn't even mind it drizzling outside. Yay! I am on my way!
