had a lousy Valentine's Day :(
 

Hi,

This was not one of our better Valentine's Days...

our son Matthew is sick with a virus and ear infetion

my husband bought me a dozen roses, and put them in our spare room to hide them. When he went to get them, they all had died! (but it was very sweet of him to buy them in the first place)

I got a letter on Valentine's day saying I'm assigned to jury duty...argh-I wouldn't mind that much, but our closest municipal court is actually in downtown Trenton, NJ (I live in a suburb, though) and I'm scared to go there...sigh...

I cheated, and baked a semi-fattening dessert-and ate a big piece.

I'm sorry to hear that Sherry but you are right there will be another one and I'm sure your husband doesn't need just one day a year to prove he loves you :)
