i borrowed them both from a friend. i haven't tried the basic one yet.
my impression of the instructional was totally bi-polar. while i was annoyed that i didn't get a killer workout, it was not on both sides, and i know all that stuf... i was frustrated that i have terrible technique.
so i'm going to try the instructional 1 more time before doing the basics. it seems a lot like my kickboxing tape so far.

I only ever watched the instructional one once, the only thing I liked was that it showed each move. It's not a workout though, I know you'll definitely get a workout with the basic one. And don't worry about technique - when I first started, I used to fall over lol. It gets way easy, I guarantee
