Default It's been a while...she said while enjoying her steamed broccoli

Hello all - so it's been a while since I've kicked around...over 2 years since I've posted and I've made the decision to come back. In the past 3 or so years in the short I ended a relationship (where i had gained back EVERYTHING I had lost) spent a year being single doing nothing and gaining more and getting to my heaviest weight ever, got involved in a new relationship with a wonderful man and am now heading in the right direction.

I'm rapidly ending the first year in my 30s...looking at where i've come on my goal to health....take 2. I've dropped my weight 30lbs (now weighing in at 249), I've started hiking and am growing stronger and am going into my first season of winter hiking to keep it going and I've found a primary care doctor, my first in my adult life, and have put all the medical numbers on paper. As it turns out other than my weight...as in the physical numbers on the scale I am in PERFECT health says all my blood work. This gives me an incredible opportunity to keep going and lose the weight before I start having any medical issues due to it.

I figure everyone was great and this place helped me stay on track and motivated before so I've returned here as I'm stepping up a notch trying to take control and keep it.

Welcome back! I remember you! We are still around in the Accountability thread, feel free to pop in (or wherever you feel comfortable, of course). Congratulations for making so many positive changes for yourself.

I know it took me several attempts to find what worked for me, but I finally did.

You can do this!!
