I'm Pregnant!
So I started my journey in July 2010 and lost over 80lbs in a year, been maintaining the past few months while TTC our second baby and I am now pregnant! DH and I are so excited. I was 266 or so when I conceived my daughter in late 08 and was 266 when I delivered her in March of 09 (I lost weight due to horrible all-day sickness in the first trimester and gained back to my pre-pregnancy weight at delivery). I am now fluctuating between 187-190, so I am a lot smaller this time around. Curious to see the differences in pregnancies and how the weightloss is going to factor in.
One thing that is definitely different is that I was running on the treadmill today, which I did NO exercise with the first pregnancy, LOL!!! Anyways, I plan to check in from time to time and hang out on the pregnancy forum. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with being a lot thinner in a subsequent pregnancy and the differences with that.
I am so excited, had to share

What fantastic news! I love the baby count-down ticker! I have only one child and was not heavy when I had her. Well, not when I conceived her - LOL. I can't offer anything but congratulations.

Congratulations!
My first pregnancy I was around 240, my second I got up to 265 or so, and my third I hung around 210-230, by the very end. The third was by far the most pain free and easiest, I was much more mobile and had more energy, as well as being more agile for positioning myself comfortably while giving birth. My heels and hips hurt much less throughout the whole thing.
The next baby I am looking to be in the 160-180 range for, whenever we TTC again, and I imagine more relief of pain than before. Pregnancy is rarely a completely comfortably event, by its' very nature, but obesity exacerbates so many issues like PSD and sciatica. It's nice to avoid those if you can, and being in great shape, whatever your weight, does indeed help.

Yeah, I figure the less aches/pains, added mobility is going to make the biggest difference this time around. Hoping the all day sickness either doesn't appear, or at least doesn't hit me as bad as with the first pregnancy.

Congrats! we had planned on waiting for our third until I was down to a much healthier weight, but he surprised us last year I was curious too how being thinner would affect my pregnancy - I figured that it would especially help with the looking pregnant thing, lol.
Good luck on a smooth pregnancy, and again congrats!
