Good Morning! I just sent my weekly update off to my trainer. My wt stayed the same (144), but I also know I am retaining fluid for some reason. I also talked about incorporating either all or mostly vegetarian dishes into my next meal plan. I posted something on FB yesterday and he responded letting me know he is vegetarian. That is great news...I knew he'll be able to work with what I want to do
patchworkpenguin--2lbs is great! It is disappointing when you expect more, but it really is great!!! Great job identifying what you "wish" you did....now you can focus on those things. You are doing really well! Keep it up!
Beverlyjoy--How are you doing?
lottie--thanks! I am excited to see what my trainer suggests.
So, spin....yea, NOT for me. First I was completely bored out of my mind...watching a screen of other people bike through VT...not so much fun. If I am going to bike, I'll bike outside. My knee did not respond well to the class either. BUT...been there, done that...so I came home and iced, elevated, and rested. It feels good today. I'm glad I tried it, but won't be going back. I have friends who love, love, love spin, so I at least wanted to give it a try.
Have a great day everyone! It's a strength training night for me. Can't wait to hit the gym!

MJ, I have the same reaction to my treadmill. Walk, walk, walk, yawn. I was at the bookstore and found a yearly weightloss calendar dayplanner. I already have a journal I use and this one didn't have as much space per day as I use but it did have the questions at the bottom What I did? What I didn't do? and What I wish I had done? Those I liked a lot. They reminded me of the Beck questions but much simpiler. 2 lbs is a start, instead of being happy, I am feeling that it will be back tomorrow so why get excited.
Its raining and chilly still. I've got bread and laundry to do today. Don't I sound excited? I've got some sort of cardio/weight circuit planned but haven't picked a vid yet.

Hi friends... I did get on the scale. It's up and I know why. However, today I have planned for a good day. Journalling, measuring& logging.
I need to take my mom to the doctor. I'll try to check in later.
This morning I went to have my foot/ankle brace adjusted. Hoping for the best!!

I did 50 minutes of exercise using my new kettlebell too.
I can report my knees are better, my elbow is still a little sore however, and whatever the 3rd thing was I complained about is apparently gone because I can't remember what it was, LOL.

Hi everyone!
Patchworkpenguin--Oh my goodness..yes, the treadmill is SO boring....I only do 5 mins for a very quick warm up before my strength training workout..it's about all I can handle, lol. Great job w/ your workout!
Beverlyjoy--Sounds like a great plan for the day! You can do it!
I am tired tight...serious workout at the gym, which felt really good!

I am really new
I am really new and still pretty lost. But just reading these many posts gives me hope. I see the cute trackers at the bottom of each post telling their weight loss progress. how do I find this to appear on my posts.
Thanks,
Rainbow

I'm really impressed with how well I'm feeling today. I expected to be 'walking funny' based on how bad I hurt yesterday, I"m sure the heating pad and hot soak had a lot to do with it.
Rainbow. welcome, glad to have you join us.
