Part of it was I wanted to come back here and post a success for you all! It does help to be accountable. I did feel sort of stressed and was proud of not stress eating the bread at the table before the meal. I knew if I had one, it would lead to another and another.
Lin, I also felt like people were watching to see what I ate but I was ok with that.It did help.
We can all do this!!! We are strong, we won't let Christmas deter our healthy eating! And if we do, we will get back on track the next meal and be ok!
Souza- congrats on avoiding the stress eating, it may seem small but every small success is a big deal!
I'm happy to report my family is having ham for Christmas dinner, which is great news for me. I absolutely hate pork, especially ham. Now I can eat pretty much anything I want without complaints from family members
