I needed a little bit of a pick me up today. Missing my husband, scale hasn't moved in a week, recent suicide on base brought up some old issues, etc. I had to order some new shirts a couple weeks ago (I always lose from my top half first) and now my bottom half is catching up! Ordered two pairs of size 18 jeans this morning. I'm pretty sure they'll fit because I'm wearing a size bigger in the same cut right now and I can get them on and off without unbottoning them. I guess we'll see next week
Thanks, Dread. I noticed we're the same age and close to the same stats. Want a diet buddy? I know you're doing SBD and I'm doing calorie counting but it would be nice to have a support system with these things in common.
I'd love to have a diet buddy, Lambie! You're right - I didn't even realize it, but our stats are almost the same. I'm not really sure what a diet buddy does, but it sounds like more personal focused support/accountability to each other? I'd like that.
Just lemme know what to do! lol

Congrats!! That is such an amazing feeling!!! I have been waiting foreeeever it seems like, to be able to get new jeans! Finally 50 whole pounds later, I can!
Fantastic job, Lambie. It's so neat to "shrink out of" your old clothes, isn't it? So much better than growing out of them if we gain weight! Keep up the great work.

PS - I like to think of the 100 pound club members all as my diet buddies. Many of the threads get very chatty and I sometimes feel lost in the crowd, too, but individual challenges are a great place to keep in contact with a smaller number of people working toward the same goal, regardless of starting stats. Maybe you could start a challenge for you and Mandy - but don't be surprised if others join in.
