+ a productive half day with the quilting biddies
+ the dogs are learning not to bark when we are on the front porch
+ tomatoes, Savoy cabbages and eggplant in my garden
+ planning a cooking marathon with my three working mums
+ got a good deal on wood to strengthen my dog fence
+ a sunny and temperate day is coming up

+ a good solid night of sleep right through to 6:30
+ was able to help out Joanne's mother yesterday by lending her some quilting tools to use during her visit
+ with a little muscle help from Greg my young neighbour, I got the pressure washer to work
+ Church yesterday was sad but lovely - 9/11 memorial and summer folks' departure
+ good visit with Melinda and gave her some $$$ towards the painting at the Fair Grounds
+ a fairly unscheduled week ahead leading into a busy weekend

I've been feeling kind of miserable lately, with house issues, spraining my ankle, getting a head cold, and then a stomach bug, so I think I should start doing this too.

Some basics...
- not so sick I can't go to work
- I have a job to go to
- a roof over my head
- food to eat

- being sick is helping me lose weight

+ huge orange pumpkins at the Farm make me smile

+ Suzie at the Farm gave me two big baskets of yellow tomatoes since I did her a favour

+ a day ahead with no "musts"

+ got the Church urns planted with fall mums yesterday and they look wonderful

+ I seem to have conquered the low FBGL problem with meds adjustment

+ my "antique" 30-cup coffee maker works just fine - new ones are about $60!

+ a crisp fall day ahead although the leaves have not yet turned
