Default super bowl support

how many of you are going to watch the super bowl?

i know i am, and i'm getting mentally prepared. i'm going ot a house where they are making finger foods. they do have diet coke for me, but i don't know what everything else is going to be.

we need to stick together in this. i'm pledging to myself that i will watch what i eat and i will WRITE it all down. i will count out the calories and i will not go over today. oh no. today is going to be a 4 pointer.

don't be overwhelmed. concentrate on your friends, the game, the commercials, the halftime show... and not the food. make good choices.

we can do it. see this little guy? ---> he knows we can!!!

Holly - At least you had good intentions. Somtimes the battle is lost because we defeat oursleves before we even start. Planning well is a good start. (besides, we all need a treat every now and then). Plus 2 workouts!!! WoooHooo!!

Holly, good for you for planning ahead. Sounds like you really did pretty well!

My 'Superbowl Party' was just me, dh and the kiddos. You know, parties aren't easy on the East Coast, the game starts at 6:30 and went until 10:30 ... and we all have work/school the next day.

Still ... my kids (almost 4 and 6) hear about the Super Bowl at school and EXPECT some sort of a party ... so we had one ... but since I did all the cooking, I kept it fairly healthy ... homemade, baked chicken fingers, celery and carrot sticks, shrimp cocktail. And we used "Super Bowl Paper plates" spread a sheet and had a "picnic" in front of the TV ... and after we finished, the sheet went into the washer and the rug got vaccummed (don't want to attract more mice ... which we haven't seen/heard from since we put down out the poison ... eeek!)
