It's been a LOOONNGG time--but I'm BACK!

  • Hi!

Geeze, where to start! Originally started in 2003--dropped over 85 lbs and got to the lowest weight I've ever been in my adult life--143. Got pregnant, gained it all back and more

Since 2005, when I had my son, I've yo-yo'd and the lowest I reached during each of those attempts was 203. Almost gave up until I decided in January that no matter what-- 2011 was the year I was going to get back into shape and lose this weight once an for all!

It's been since January 3 of this year. I've managed to lose 70 lbs. to date. I've got nearly 30 lbs to get to my first goal of 150 and just about 50 to my ultimate goal of around 130.

It's getting so much harder to lose these last 30-50! I need all the help I can get.

I am looking forward to getting involved here again--years ago, this place was my lifeline. I've made so many friends here and I see some names I remember.

Here we go! 30 lbs here I come!
  • Welcome back, Gretchen!! GREAT job losing 70 lbs, you're on a roll!

  • WOW,WOW, WOW! 70 pounds since January? Please come in and get comfortable and then tell us all your secrets! Did I mention WOW?

I don't have to tell you that jumping into the 3FC ocean is a wonderful way to get support, information and understanding on this voyage to better health. And you don't have to tell us that you are going to be a wonderful addition to our motley crew. Aaaargh! and we're a bloodthirsty bunch! Nothin' pleases us more than skewerin' another pound of fat on our cutlasses or making a whole crew of those nasty pounds walk the plank --- you are SO going to fit right in!

I look forward to hearing lots more about your adventures!
