Loving my raw broccoli. I can't believe I just wrote that.

I had a ridiculous huge craving for a strawberry shake and fries from McDonalds last week when it was so hot, (I haven't had one since January.) Yuck. I really do not like McDonalds fries anymore, but I did manage to choke down the strawberry shake. lol

brussels sprouts (which I actually list as my favorite food now), non-white rices, dark chocolate instead of milk, broccoli that hasn't been drowned in "cheese" sauce, salad that is more salad than dressing, radishes

Morningstar veggie burgers. Especially the Tomato & Basil Pizza Burger and the Spicy Black Bean Burger. I top them with a wedge of Laughing Cow Garlic & Herb cheese and it is just about one of the tastiest things I have ever eaten.

^^ Ooo, yeah. When I first tried MorningStar veggie sausage I thought, really? I'm supposed to eat this?? Now I like it better than real sausage!

And I'm with Cathi888... I've caved a few times in the last year and gotten and burger or fries at a fast food joint and it NEVER tastes as good as I remember. I will indulge rarely at a nicer restaurant and get a burger or share fries... but my fast food issues are 99% cured. (I still love Jack-In-the-Box tacos though! And the chicken fajita pita! At around 320 cal for either it's doable -- as long as I'm not looking at the sodium!)

Whole wheat pasta! I hated it a couple years ago when my mom made it, now I crave the nutty flavor and the texture!

Cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, arugula, meals that don't include animal protein...

Don't get me wrong, these are hardly like my favourite things in the universe but the gag reflex-OMG factor is gone and I actually CHOOSE to eat these things willingly and don't mind them at all.

I used to hate any type os fish. I grew up eating smoked catfish, lutefisk (yes I live in Minnesota,and from a small town). I used to avoid fish like the plague. But my husband really likes fish and I tried some tallapia he made and amazingly enough it was yummy!! Another food I can add to my list of things I enjoy now.

Spaghetti Squash!!!

I hated all squash but now I LOVE my yummy Spaghetti squash with home made tomato sauce low fat cheese bake. mmmmmm Had that for dinner tonight with a salad and am still satisfied!
