Well I don't have much to say as I just got here but I do want to work toward the twenty posts to get the cool weight tracker I am on day 2 of a low carb diet. I have been struggling with my weight for as long as I can remember but I had never tried talking with a doctor until this week... My family dr gave me a very general list for low carb eating and recommended I start Zumba (which I bought the kit for several months ago but it seemed so hard I never really gave it a chance.) So I am ready to see what happens!

I'm new here too....just registered today. I am in my 8th week of the IP diet. I have to say, I wish things were going a little faster. I have lost 12 pounds. Everyone says I am crazy for even BEING on this diet. I am 5'2" and started at 140 pounds. I weigh in every Thursday and this week I was officially down the 12 pounds. I started IP after a visit to a hormone specialist who suggested it to me because I was so upset about my peri-menopausal weight gain (30 pounds in less than two years). Does anyone have any ideas on how to speed up this process a little bit? I am also having an extremely difficult time trying to work my food schedule into my crazy Home Depot work schedule...my hours a different every day....could be as early as a 6a to 3p or as late as a 1 to 10p.....I have told my husband that if I have to choose between the diet and the job, I will choose the diet. Any help would be terrific. Thanks. Lisa.
