+ Moel tilled half my back garden
+ Liz dug irises for me - and her!
+ dental appointment cost less than usual
+ had a great conversation with a tourist at the garden centre - in Italian! (Languages are coming back!)
+ picked a huge bunch of tulips before Moel ploughed over them
+ weight down another two pounds - my work is paying off
+ Fair Board meeting was fun for a change
+ my morning is free for gardening and potting plants I've dug

* I have not gained quite as many pounds as I thought. When I got on the scales Mon., after not weighing for a couple of weeks, my weight was 215.1. I have been losing a pound a day since then. Now I know that I did not lose a pound of fat a day, so I have to believe that some of that weight was water weight. Every pound helps.
* Yesterday was another on plan day.
* Finally made myself get that appointment for estate planning
* Green grass
* Family, friends, indoor plumbing, 3FC, Cell phones and Internet

- another healthy day... I am grateful

- DH is home. YAY He's been gone for six days. Glad to have him home.

- went to lunch with Mom yesterday - Max and Erma's. It was fun. Grateful I made a healthful choice.

- special shout out to my cell phone. I certainly remember the days when we only called friends and family on a Sunday. This is so much nicer. Also, texting seems to be the communication choice of DS. He loves to chat via text. I don't quite get it.. it is his generation, I guess. (now that I think of it..he never did like talking on the phone much.)

- my family, my friend, YOU ALL, FB, internet

- new blacktop on the driveway... looks so nice

  • my family and their support in the last crazy 6-8 weeks
  • having both of my theses written and just needing to finish them up
  • finally starting to feel like normality is returning to my life
  • having sat for a good exam on Saturday - results to be out in a few days but I am quite sure that I have passed, so only a total of 3 more to go until graduation!
  • not having gained weight in the last two weeks back and being at 240 pounds at my lowest in 2 years.
  • for the exercise bug to have bitten me, it is TOM and I can't go to the gym but I am already planning for my zumba class on Wednesday next week.
  • getting the apartment cleaning done yesterday
  • my room mate who heaven knows is not perfect but at least she is trying
  • a lovely blue shirt one of my colleagues wore to work on Friday that just made his blue eyes pop ... ahem ... so, yes, also grateful for workplace crush - Not smart thing to have, I know! - but still brightens my days

+ had a delightful and hilarious impromptu lunch with Paul yesterday
+ grateful (in a way) for the next week of rain so I can get indoor things done
+ had some times to shorten new pants - Size 14 feels good
+ watched "The King's Speech" last night and loved it
+ summer clothes are half unpacked - a bit baggy but will do for now
