Hi Friends! Gained .02 today. I'm not surprised. I've had a tough couple of days. Work has been extra stressful and I've been turning to my old comfort foods to deal with it. Time to pull it together! Last evening, had a chat with Hubby and we decided that I'm not quite ready to come off the Medifast. The structure is incredibly important for me right now. Once I made the decision, it's like a weight was removed from my shoulders! I need to get a ton of work done today, so please forgive me for not doing personals. Hopefully, I can squeeze in Zumba tonight.

Have a great on-plan day.

'morning gang! Weighed in at 198.8, that's +1lb from yesterday, but I'm not worried. Was OP yesterday and I decided to angle the tv towards the elliptical last night, so that I could get in a workout while watching The Biggest Loser. How's that for motivation to keep going? Spent the first half of the show on the elliptical, and the second half with free weights. Man I felt good last night, and this morning I am sore! So I have no doubt the gain is from my muscles holding water. Oh and since I actually graced the office with my presence today, I also weighed in earlier than usual.

April 30th: 240.6

1: 244.4
2: 241.6
3: 242.4
4: 244.6

This is really starting to irk me. I went over my calories by about 400 yesterday, but I burned over 1200 calories exercising, 1600 just wasn't cutting it... I was hungry!! I'm not a believer in eating back exercise calories, but when I'm super hungry I will give myself some leeway. Maybe I'm exercising too much? I've only been at the gym thing for a week and a half, maybe I'm retaining huge amounts of water? My rings are really tight. I'm so frustrated that I've been faithfully going to the gym and what I have to show for it is a 4lb gain. I exercised for 3 hours yesterday (1 hr racquetball + 2 hrs volleyball) and 3.5 hrs the day before (1.5 hrs cardio/weights + 2 hrs volleyball)... I think I'll take it a little easier today.

Ok, pity party over. I'm off to the gym to put on more weight.

I am freakishly whooshing over here!!! LOL

I am down 1.2 to 194.0 I hope it sticks around!!

Killed it at the gym last night. ran for 35 mins!!!! It was amazing! Gonna get some Pilates tonight and then nothing tomorrow - I have a coffee date. LOL

And now time for some much needed personals!!!

FutureThoughts: Welcome aboard!!! This is a great place!!

Mandy: Hang in there! The scale stalls even when you're doing all the right things. I just went through that myself.

Rennie: Awesome job on that walk!!!

Starbrite: You have got this!!!

Ona: good to see you!!! You will look beautiful in any color you choose!!!

Fitkristi: Congrats on being so close to goal!!! That is amazing!

GirlyGirl: Enjoy Zumba

Kukkie: Great job on that workout!!!

Gale02: I'm sorry youre frustrated. I feel that those gains would be from your muscles holding water. You are doing some great exercising. Your body will get used to it.

for 30 min last night, @ 3.5mph for 30 min this morning. Slowly getting back into my workout routine following the 1/2 marathon soreness. The swimming felt GREAT BTW!

April 2011 - Lost 2.2 pounds (Ready to kick butt in May!)

April 30: 282.6
1: 280.0 (-2.6)
2: 278.9 (-1.1)
3: 276.0 (-2.9)

Future -- You're gonna love these ladies! I'm a new "daily weigher" myself and am enjoying the freedom it gives me taking away the power of the numbers!

Star -- Good luck with the DT. Those 9lbs don't stand a snowball's chance in...well...you know.

Diana -- Good job sticking with your research. You're going to feel SO much better once you've got it figured out!

Love -- We're twinsies...I was up 0.2 this morning too. I'll take it though 'cause I REALLY enjoyed that I ate at my mom's last.

Ona -- Congrats on finding a good balance even when you're not able to stay OP...you're kind of staying OP anyway! woo hoo! Good luck on finding a new dress. (Boo to the hosts for changing). You're gonna rock whatever you find!

Krist -- YAY! i HEART big overnight drops!

Lady -- Woo hoo! Those number are headed the right direction now! Keep doing what you're doing!

Rhonda -- Couple of us gained .2 overnight! Good job evaluating your eating and recognizing what's going to work. Not having stress is going to help you out in the long run anyway.

Kiyoshima -- Boo to that pesky 0.5. Shoo fly!

Kukkie -- You're still on ONEderland girl! That weird gain is going to melt away with that exercise you're doing! Lucky co-workers to get to see you're lovely face today!

Gale -- Boo! You'll get past this...I know it!

Rtsmme -- Congrats on seeing that number go down!

still no WI for me .. I have to remember to buy batteries when I'm at the store and not everything else that hops into the cart
The on plan eating is def helping, I feel more lively. I am sure a lot of that is mentality with the moving on from the situation I'm in - I just feel better about everyting. More like me, randomly amused and happy and little silly things.

Vix - Check you out with your whooshes, dang!! Congrats to you! I need a few of those myself, I'm sure it'll come getting 'back together' with Bob this week . . he's still an evil evil man though

Kukkie - Good on ya for getting the eliptical work out in! That's what I tend to do as well, angle the treadmill to the tv lol

Kristi - NICE drop lady!

BBL for everyone else . . . . another lunch meeting today and ohh how i'm looking forward to my quinoa and spinach, seriously becoming addicted to that stuff!

hello ladies! (where is our gentleman? and the lady that brought him? they've been away a while...)

today's visit with the little wii man saw me at 275.4. a new low, barely, but still a new low! down .4 from yesterday. i'm attempting the new WW plan, because i was having issues counting calories. here's the magic words: i've got an app on my phone! i love helpful apps on my phone.

i've noticed that my exercise lately doesn't feel like exercise. which makes me feel like i'm not doing enough. i get no cardio boost from the walk it out game anymore, barely winded after 30 mins of step and boxing. so i ordered leslie sansone's "walk away the pounds" dvds. 3 dvds with 5 different workouts (for 26 dollars!), i'm hoping a change up in the exercise helps me get past the scale stalling on me!

WHOOSH! I’m not sure what the heck is going on but I’m down 4.2 lbs to 209.8 today. What’s weird is that I dreamed I had a ridiculously low number (it was 205 in my dream) and then I stepped on the scale and voila! I’m 209.8!! Oh please please please, I can’t stand to see a big bounce back tomorrow! I did 4k yesterday in total, 1k in the morning and then 3 in the evening

Future Thoughts -- I hope you will love this thread as much as I do!

Rennie -- Congratulations on the great day yesterday! When you say you are over your calories, are you also counting the calories burned during your exercise? Hope you have another great energizing day today!

Diana -- Any idea what food family is the culprit? I know you mentioned shellfish before, but did you also say broccoli was a possibility? Does it happen at home ever or just in restaurants?

Ona -- Oh dress shopping has got to be so exciting for you right now! Good job maintaining through all this planning stuff. Where are you having the party, is it at someone’s home, or a public place? I hope you’ll share some pictures with us afterwards.

Kristi -- Congratulations on your 2lbs and on losing 40%, wow!!! So many of people are close to goal now, I hope you guys will still be here during maintenance!

Rhonda

Kukkie -- Great job on the exercise last night!

Gale -- I bet it is water weight, are your muscles sore? You mentioned the rings, that could be it.

Vixsin -- Congrats on your 1.2 and on the great run last night!

Jamisue -- Wow, awesome job on exercise yesterday, and it looks like it’s really paying off for you this month…keep going!

Coondocks -- I’m glad to hear you are feeling more like yourself again, lunch sounds great!

Mandy -- Congratulations on your new low! Which phone app are you using? I use “lose it” -- if you’re on that one too you can add me as a friend Good luck with the new exercise plan!

Matilda

Bulletproof -- Good news about the new weight! Yes, just imagine how quickly it will go when you get focused again -- I’m excited for you!
