Boredom eating was a tough habit for me to break. I found gum and lots of tea really helped.

Good for you for not giving in; it gets easier!

Sometimes I mow through packs of gum at work. The tea technique works sometimes, and when I get really desperate, pumpkin seeds-- they are so salty that it's impossible to eat too many. On the other hand, watch out for the water weight gain.
