Following any specific plan: Counting calories and cutting junk food (and making eating out be a rare treat, not a 3-4 times weekly deal)
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Using a tracking app, have an exercise bike in my living room (or I will next week! waiting on delivery), and seeking out support groups.

Anything else you would like to share with us: i started seriously losing weight in august of 2011, lost over 80 pounds, gained all of it plus more back. Been struggling for months, something clicked and i restarted.

Following any specific plan: Obtained a Doctor's request to take Saxenda for obesity and just ordered 21 Day Fix
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: This time I have created an at home gym area so that I do not have an excuse to not work out. Also, I have ordered 21 Day Fix from beach body which is a program about portion control and clean eating and is not a "magic pill". This time I will be working hard towards my goal instead of looking for an easy way out.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Depression/Anxiety and fear of diet failure (which will make me want to just give up and eat eat eat)
Following any specific plan: no, just low carb/high protein for now; if it's too hard to do on my own, I might choose a plan to follow at a later date
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: For the first time my health is a major factor in my desire to lose weight. Now that I am older, I am facing high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes, etc., and I really don't want to live like that...
Anything else you would like to share with us: My life has been derailed over the past 4 years and I am really hoping that weight loss will help me get my life back on track by getting my health back on track. Especially hoping that weight loss and increased physical fitness will help with my depression and anxiety.

I want to have a baby soon, and we are going to start trying next year, so I want to lose about 60lbs before that so I can have a healthy pregnancy.

Following any specific plan: I am a member of OA, I have done a lot of work but don't lose weight, finally decided to follow the OA How food plan, it fits really well with my medical issues and gives me boundaries.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have basically maintained for 3 1/2 years, now it is time to lose.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I fear losing weight and gaining it back so much that I have been afraid to lose. I did lose 65 lbs in 2011-2012 but gained a lot back. That is when I started OA. I like OA, but I have found I need a stricter food plan, so I decided to work a strict plan and see what happens. I am excited to be on this site. I was on something similar a number of years ago, I don't know if it was this one or not but I think it should be good for me.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Honestly. gained a lot of the weight after an injury, and this is my first time trying to lose it.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I would love any advice that anyone can give me! I need to start exercise slow but I am open to anything. I used to be active and was a pescatarian, was told that my protein was considered too low by the doctor. However, I would like to go back to that so I need protein substitute ideas! Honestly, I just need some support to make the move.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: It's not so much vanity now...I'm worried for my health
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm in my early fourties and married with 4 children. I'm a certified doula and a SaHM. I gained most of my 100+ pounds (100 kg too!) in the past ten years after I was put on some medication. I can't quit taking the meds but I'm hoping that I can jump-start my metabolism again with good nutritrion and some exercise or activity. Hoping I can make some friends here and encourage others as well as being encouraged. I look forward to meeting all of you!
