What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm not doing it alone. I never joined a group like WW before, or even an online forum.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I decided to change careers, so now I'm a 30 year old college freshman. This change in my life is super stressful.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My own emotional blocks that has kept me heavy 3/4 of my life

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: In the past, I had tried on my own... now I am in a 12 step program with a wonderful support group, working through emotional reasons why I binged & kept my self fat.
Anything else you would like to share with us: Today, at 217 lbs, I am the smallest I have been in over 25 years... I joined 3FC in 2007 when I tried a comercial diet... but have not been back here in a long time.

Anything else you would like to share with us: Moving to the midwest from the west coast was horrible on my waistline! I was only about 30 lbs overweight when I moved here. I used to walk to everything year round living in a big city. Now I'm in a village where there is snow 6 months out of the year.

What is different this time? I'm serious about weight loss this time and I want to have kids, I know that will be much easier with less weight. I would also like to get my blood pressure under control. I also have the support of my amazing boyfriend!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: The idea that its impossible for me to lose weight and that I will always be overweight or struggling with weight.
Following any specific plan: plant based, vegan, exercise and lots of agua
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm trying to shake off my OA background and the idea that I have an "incurable disease"
Anything else you would like to share with us: I lost 140 lbs in OA and I feel like it was kind of the placebo effect. I really believed that a omnipresent sentient being was somehow giving me relief from my eating issues. But my issues with food returned and the sentient being seemed to desert me so I'm on my own now. I like the support group aspect though and I need to find some supportive people

Goal Weight: mini-goal - 190 lbs - not sure about final goal
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: all wheat carbs, dairy, sweets
Following any specific plan: 1700 cal a day, exercise 6 days a week (at least 1 hr swimming, running, biking-- I've been doing this consistently for 9 years) write it all down ahead of time, hardly any wheat carbs, hardly any dairy, hardly any frank sweets, protect your joints at all costs
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I was at 198 lbs before and got very stressed, and put the weight back on, now I'm at 231 lbs, I have a reward of a tummy tuck (panniculectomy actually) at 190 lbs, and I'm doing it 1 day at a time.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I really believe wheat carbs are addictive. I have found I really have to eliminate "danger" foods that when I start, I can't stop. This includes all things wheat, and dairy.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I love to bake and make desserts so it's very difficult for me to give it up or choose healthier alternatives.
Following any specific plan: 1200-1450 calories, 8 cups of water a day, 30 minute daily walk, and make my meals myself, not anything store bought.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have actual motivation to do this for myself rather than other diets my family pushed on me.
Anything else you would like to share with us: We can all beat this challenge no matter how long it takes.
