Following any specific plan: not really, not right now anyway. I'm just going to start to eat healthier and get more excersise in. My jobs keep me pretty active when I work 50-60hr weeks (I'm not right now so I'm not as fit as I usually am, relatively that is).
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I want it more. I want to get my life on track and finally lose this weight thats been piling on for the last ten years. I also want to get fit because I'm seriously looking at going into the police force or Air Force/Army.

What is different this time: It's not about appearances, it's about health. And as much as I don't want to ask for help...I here asking.
Anything else to know: I just really love the forum and want to change the way I think about this journey. It's not my mother's journey, my daughter's or my neighbors. It's mine and I will make the rules.

Anything else you would like to share with us: First time I lost the weight, I lost over 60 lbs and was nearly under 200 lbs. It sucks being back up but I am determined to lose it for good this time and working on my mental as well as physical this time around.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weight loss: I struggle with fatigue for other reasons and struggle with keeping healthy routines when life gets crazy. Have battled emotional eating all my life and late night binge eating.
Following any specific plan: Yes, balanced whole foods via doctor’s supervision. With no sort of weight loss medication and am trying to avoid surgery because I am so young.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I was living on my own and lost quite a bit of weight but I recently moved back home and do not have much support because family was source of bad eating habits, learning how to make my own way while sharing a kitchen and home with unhealthy people. What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: We are still waiting to find that out. But, my motivation is based on how I feel more than before. I have always been fat but healthy, now, with the last 10 pounds, and maybe hitting 50, my body is starting to hurt. My joints are starting to hurt, and my muscles are starting to be painful. I need to correct this now.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm an accountant in the finance department of a very large hospital. I sit at my desk all day, and even eat at my desk. Some days I feel I eat all day long. There is a real potential that my job may become even more hectic and stressful. I need to get up and move and take time to take care of myself before I end up in that very large hospital as a patient not as an employee. My mother is 81 and very active and tiny. I want to live to be at least 81, and with the way things are going, I don't think I will unless I get a handle on my weight and loose it.
