What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Nothing, and that worries me... if I couldn't do it before why would I be able to now? I'm trying to convince myself the other times were just practice.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I wasn't always overweight, I think once I was around 20 I really started to get bigger. That includes losing 100 pounds and quitting smoking.

Following any specific plan: Healthy lifestyle change, portion control.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm finding this time almost unattainable. I can't seem to get the needed mindset to accomplish the daunting task of getting this weight off.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I feel SO uncomfortable and I'm in such extreme pain and I know all the bad things that this weight is potentially causing me (I'm literally killing myself) like the high blood pressure, like the potential for diabetes, like heart problems, etc. BUT....I can't seem to be able to STOP eating. I quit smoking after some 15/20 years, because I found out that I was pregnant and I quit COLD TURKEY, because I didn't want to harm my child. But, this weight is killing....ME. And, I can't seem to stop eating and stop killing myself. Geee, does that say anything about my self esteem??? Anybody out there with a similar scenario???
