My best advice would be....
Suppose your best friend asked you for advice on losing weight and you could only tell him/her ONE thing. . . what would it be?

It's about consistency, not perfection.

The only way to fail to reach your goal is to stop before you get there.

You will be successful and make youre goals when you're committed mentally and physically.
*my big problem was I kept thinking I was ready to lose weight but wasnt, i was scared mentally and thought I couldnt do it. Now after dropping 16 pounds, I know that being both mentally and physically ready is key*

Every decision you make will impact your life in one way or another... make the decisions that will impact it for the better.

Don't mistake small and slow successes for failure.

You need to take, and maintain responsibility for what you are now, and also what you will be in the future; no one can control that except you.

Keeping it off after losing it is just as hard as losing it. It's a long-term commitment!

When the day is done and I have eaten healthy all day and exercised...I lay my head down on my pillow and smile.
