Getting OUT of the 240's ...2011

I have not seen a new post like this for the 240's people, so thought I would make one! The lowest number I've see. This month so far has been 241.4, I keep going between 241 and 243!

So close to the 230's that I can taste it:)

So how's everyone doing? What's your game plan on how you will leave the 240's?

I hope to keep my activity to 4 days a week. I am going to start watching my sodium intake as much as my calories bc it has been an issue. Continue with NO SODAS! and finish the c25k!

I also want to have a target water intake of 100 oz per day for the rest of Jan!!!

Can't wait to hear from you other 240's!!! Toodles!

AHHHH! I've been stuck right around 240 for weeks, WEEKS I tell you!!!! Other people seem to fly right past it, but not me! I was down to 238.5 last Saturday, but back up to 243 by this morning, Tuesday! 3.5 pounds in 3 days!! Arrgh! While I'm worked up about this (note all the exclamation points!!!), I'm not super discouraged (yet!). I know part of it was the holidays and part of it is just me being off track and lazy... My plan is to get back on track with eating right and logging everything. And more water. (I also have a no-soda goal!) I just need to be more serious about it. I think I needed a break (serious effort was made from August - begin of Dec), BUT this last week was supposed to be the start of getting back on track and I gained 3.5 pounds this week. ugh. Alright, I'm going to stop rambling now. Best of luck!

Oh, oh, me, pick me!! I have been bouncing between 241 and 243 for over a month now (which I consider maintaining.) I'm WAY ready to be out of the 240's. Step one: stop eating crap! ;) I've gotten pretty lazy with my eating the last month or so. I also haven't been getting enough water, haven't been tracking and exercise is at an all time low. I have started playing volleyball again, so that's something I suppose. Onward and downward!!

Drinking water really does make a difference whenever I step on the scale in the morning. Today I was at 242.4....

I am happy to know that I'm not the only one who is having a hard time with these couple of pounds. You better believe 2.4 aint gonna keep me down..no way!!!

We can do this ladies!!!!!!!!!

Jen- I bounced like that earlier in the month, never in the 230's though. My sodium intake was outrageous and after I drank about 80oz of water two days back to back, the water weight just dropped off!

Im a strong believer of, if you see the number, and then bounce up, its retention! There is no way you ate your daily caloric intake plus 3500 calories. It isn't a true gain! Girl you're so close!!!

Gale: you can do it! When I started tracking again I had to take it one meal at a time or I got so overwhelmed and would just give up for days! I always track within 10 min of eating something bc I like to trick myself and not log something that I wish I wouldn't have had. Lol. Tracking and water is def the first steps to success!!!

We can do this!!! Today is a NEW day! I'm ready to post in the 230's thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Count me as another poor soul who can't get out of the 240's. I've actually seen 239.9 for a day, but it just creeps back into the 240's before the day is over. This morning I was 242.0 :?:

I threw my back out last Friday and have been at home on painkillers and not at the gym where I need to be. I'm watching my calories, but that isn't enough for me to lose this weight.

Gale02 01-12-2011 09:57 AM

I finally saw something below 242 (241.6) this morning for the first time in weeks. I played volleyball for 2 hours last night for the second time this week. Twice a week will be pretty unusual, but it was fun!

Here's to 239.8!

Thanks CutieCourt!! I've been slugging down the water this week and eating pretty well. I should probably change my weigh in to Sunday morning. I do well on week days because I'm working, but once I weigh in on Saturday morning, I sort of relax... :o Gotta stay on track ALL weekend! :D I guess it's a constantly changing process, right?!

Yay!! I just hit 249 today and I can't wait to get out :-D

GabrielleEmersyn 01-13-2011 01:37 AM

I am around 243lb - I had my first official weight last Friday & it was 247.3lb, then weighed myself y/day & was 243lb... so I'm hoping I only have another week or two in the 240's... I guess that's the good thing about just starting out, it doesn't take much for the weight to come off lol...

I'm eating better, watching portion control, exercising daily & drinking 2 liters of water a day :)

Teresa66 01-13-2011 08:28 AM

Weighed this morning and still sitting on 242.0 Uggghhh!! Good news is that my back is feeling much better and I'm heading to the gym in just a little bit. Fingers are crossed!

Jen516 01-13-2011 04:43 PM

Glad your back is better Teresa - Good luck at the gym!

CutieCourt 01-14-2011 11:00 AM

:) y'all are doing so great!!! I weighed in this morning at 243.2!!! Ughhhhh!!!!!

I cant wait to make a YAY! we're in the 230's thread:)

Water, water, water! I need to get more!!

Gale02 01-14-2011 05:02 PM

My "official" Weight Watchers weigh in today was 241.6. I think I will see the 230's before next Friday! :D

CutieCourt 01-15-2011 03:49 PM

I weighed in this morning at 240.4! OMG!!! So close!!!!!!

Gale: Awesome! Its right around the corner!

Jen516 01-15-2011 03:56 PM

omg. I totally couldn't believe my eyes this morning!! I wieghed in at 237.0!!!! :yay: Officially my lowest weight on this journey so far! I drank tons of water this week (though I still probably barely made 50-60 oz a day, so nothing crazy!). I think that really helped. Of course, I also ate well this week - guess that makes a difference too! :p Keep up the hard work ladies -- it's soooo close!!
