Default NSV: office baking & chocolate insanity

So for some reason people were all about the baking and sweets and gift-giving of all sorts of yummy fat and sugar laden treats this year. I received no fewer than 10 different plates/boxes of yummy confections from co-workers in the past week.

AND! I gave all of them away. I did a quick "thank you so much, how lovely!", then brought everything up to my skinny, sweet-addicted boy friends on another floor. They loved me for it, and aside from maybe one peanut-butter-with-a-chocolate-kiss cookie I escaped the downfall of the office holiday craziness. Win-win.

I also made it through a pot luck with flying colors. Yay!

Here's hoping I can continue this forward motion stuff through the rest of the holidays and into the new year, because it feels freakin good

Good for you!!!

I've received lots of lovin' through sweet treats the past two weeks. I ate one buckeye and counted it in my cals and carbs and gave the rest away.

The real challenge will be my mother. Ive allotted to eat one small piece of her shortbread tomorrow. Sometimes she can be a real pusher. I'm sureill get sent home with extra shortbread, pie and brownies. I will also give those away if I do.
