Of my "lifestyle change". This morning I hit a new low of 215. I did not face the scale for two weeks in, so my starting weight is an estimate. By the time I did get on the scale, it read 266. So I feel like I can officially say that my weight loss is over 50lbs. Yeah!!!
I feel so much better, and am so glad I made a commitment to my health. I've been counting calories, and moving every day. I'm turning 33 next weekend, on Sunday, and I feel better than when I was 23. I am now at a lower weight than when I got married nearly 12 years ago.
As for my plan, it is mainly whole foods. I do eat complex carbs, but try to make sure I am eating more protein in general. I am hoping to get to my goal weight by September of 2011, because I want to have another baby and conceive again soon after that date. (My DD is 20 months). So yes ladies, it is possible to have a baby and come back from it weighing less. Thanks to 3FC, I now have the tools to count my calories and eat during the next pregnancy so I don't gain copious amounts and get back to the maintenance phase quickly and maintain this for the rest of my days!!!!
I plan on putting up some halfway progress pics, as soon as I get a new pic of myself and DH helps me post it! LOL!!! Thanks for all of your support, especially at the beginning of this journey. I feel like this time I'm gonna beat this!!!
