Default If I cut my hair, I'd be overweight!

My current BMI is 0.1 (nought point one) over overweight!!

I've been following my usual pattern of drop-bounce up-scrape down, and sometimes I've felt a lot of head-hunger; but I've taken the decision not to record the grumbles any more. Well, I'll try.

Plus - and it really is true now, 95% of the time - daily weighing coupled with not veering from Plan at all (or, the 2 times I did, recording every ounce of that too) has meant that even when I do see an upward bounce on the scales, it doesn't bother me: I'm finally convinced that I'm doing the right thing, so any bounceups are not fat!

Nice day - except really can't get out for exercise today, pavements glacial, even with Trax on!

I'm right there alongside you! I'm 0.5 into obese, but I suspect I've got more hair than most people. I get no allowance made for the fact that my hair is not body fat and that a person who has F cup boobs is likely to carry more weight/fat even at a good body size than someone with A cups. I've often told doctors that if they want me to lose another lb I'll cut my hair off but I won't be any healthier. It's then that they realise that thick, curly hair that is down to your backside is probably quite heavy. Certainly it's too heavy to put in a ponytail because the weight hurts my head after 10 minutes. I've tried to weigh my hair but it's not really that easy.

Hands up if you have ever tried to weigh your breasts?

Well, there's a thought for today! I know Leftie's bigger than Rightie but I've never tried weighing them. Yet.

Great job on this! I often see posts by people who go into a tailspin because of fluctuations - it's so great to learn to trust your plan and believe in what you are doing.

Two confessions:

I once did schedule a hair trim the evening before weigh in when we had Weight Watchers at work.

I did web search for breast weights based on cup size (34 GG here).

Thou art forgiven - because you made me laugh so much!

I've done the search too, and am going to experiment with a bowl of warm water and 2 boobs tonight!

LOL - great thread, made me laugh! Rosinante, you are doing so great!

I have often thought that a good hair cut could have kept a contestant on the Biggest loser.

That made me laugh out loud, at my desk, here at work. OMG, hilarious.

And, on a side note, I'm 5'7 and my hair is to my waist. I wonder how much it weighs... If I pick up today's ponytail, it's got some... girth to it. Hhm. LOL.

That's hilarious about the boobs!! I'm like you Rosinate, leftie's the bigger girl but I have no idea what they weigh. That's great that you trust your plan, that's where I am too - I'm on my plan pretty much 100% of the time and the scale bounces seriously do not bother me, because I KNOW this is working and the numbers will go down.

Congrats Rosinate.. you are doing awesome!!

Now I'm wondering just how much the girls are weighing me down (they are a 42L ), and the hair too...not too long ago I took 12 inches off of it and it's still mid back!
