A Great Start to your Day

I'm sure most of us used to skip breakfast now we can't survive with out it!
How do you get a great start to your day?

Today I had:

heart to heart cereal (1 point/cup) mixed with FF yogurt (boston cream pie flavour - 2 points)
3 strips of turkey bacon (1 point)

I will list more later...
but I want to hear some great breakfast ideas!!

Great idea...breakfast really does mean something.

I eat breakfast around 10 am..and the protien really helps and makes a difference.

2 fried eggs with a little cheese and a few strips of bacon.

And of course..large coffee.

I usually have it @ 7:00. Today I waited until 9:00. small bagel w/ peanut butter. no coffee.

Breakfast has never really been my thing, I know that it is important, but never really cared much for breakfast food. So for me today:

1 slice of Pillsbury mix banana bread (3 points)
Water!

I have too much to do in the mornings so I pick something that I can stick in my bag and eat in the car or once I get to work. For the last 6 months it's been a ZonePerfect Bar. It has lots of protein so it keeps me going. I don't drink coffee. During the week I drink a liter of water with it. (On the weekends I have tea).

Water and a WW Smoothie - all protein, low on carbs.

I typically eat either a banana or a FF yogurt mixed with 1/2 C. of Fiber One cereal. I've found if I eat carbs in the morning, I burn out quickly & want to eat something right away again. With protein & fiber, I stay full much, much longer.

breakfast!

I used to never eat breakfast before I started losing weight. I would eat in the breakroom at work on my first break and eat vending machine donuts or a huge bagel with two packets of cream cheese!!

Now I eat Morningstar Farms veggie sausage. I heat them up, then add shredded cheese on top and heat again. There is hardly any carbs in this so if I eat this at 7 am I am not actually hungry until noon!! It may sound high in calories but I allow myself 2000 a day and still lose weight.

Laura..
how many calories are the sausages? do they really fill you up? I love turkey bacon!! - and it does a pretty good job of filling me up.
do you use the low fat cheese or the real stuff? :cheese:

After my walk and shower, I got dressed and looked around and I have 15 minutes to spare! Whoa.

So, I hauled out the Kashi Go Lean Crunch (now my boyfriend's favorite cereal) and had a bowl and a glass of milk.
