awesome and adorable! i'm so impressed with your weight control during pregnancy! there's nothing stopping you now girl! what's your battle plan? i'm sure we can all help.
Well, the same thing I did during pregnancy and before - I count my calories and log them in Loseit!, and track my weight on The Hacker's Diet online. Tracking these two variables let's me zero in on exactly how my body is responding, good or bad, to my food and activity.
I will be aiming for 1900-2100 calories a day, since I am breastfeeding, and I don't want to have to drop them too low once I stop. I don't really want to ever be below 1400-1600 calories a day, unless I weigh less than 130 or so, so I do not drop them particularly low while losing and accept slower losses for more food. Last go-around I was averaging about a pound or pound and a half per week, that was good for me. I want to jumpstart it right now, but if I can't lose more than that rate comfortably I am happy with the slower reduction.
Oh yeah, and cute newborns could explain why I have had three in three years! I can't resist babies and children, so now I have a 3 year old, 2 year old, and a newborn to occupy my days and keep me sane (or make me crazy ).

3, 2, + newborn to keep you SANE???
Now that's the comments from someone who is anything but sane
What's funnier is that DH and I were talking about when we wanted the next one, and it probably won't be more than a year or two out that we start trying again. Large families of closely spaced kids isn't for everyone, but I've really enjoyed it.
Ha! Not with these stitches, there isn't! He's only three weeks old, and I'm struggling to make it through my normal care and chore routine with my kids, let alone exercise. For me (and I've been doing this pretty much nonstop for two years now) once I get a handle on my food the exercise comes, especially once my body is able to again. For now, I still have my daily exercise block scheduled in (I leave an hour a day to do an exercise video or ride. On my stationary bike while the kids nap) but so far I haven't had enough energy by that time in the day. As is, I did too much over the weekend in terms of standing/walking and it restarted heavy postpartum bleeding I'd been over for a week.
In the next few weeks it should resume, in which case I will do Leslie Sansone videos, the stationary bike, and NROLFW with modifications for my resistance bands. I don't really work out for weightloss, my goal is more strength and feeling good. So getting back to that isn't really crucial for my scale success, so much as my energy and strength. But I can't do that when standing and cooking for a half hour wipes me out and makes me pelvic floor ache to the point of needing oxycontin!
It'll all coalesce, but the exercise will take longer than the food after birth. It is a downside of having back to back babies, my days are filled with so much attending of them and busyness that it actually slows my recovery a bit, because I end up overworking myself just doing normal things instead of being able to rest and heal.
Oh well

Yeah I definitely wouldn't rush the exercise! I still have a hard time fitting exercise in, and I only have a 2 year old and a 9 month old! Although I find myself just doing more exercise anyways, running after them and taking them to the park and stuff. Anyhow sounds like you have a great plan, and you're really ahead of the game - it took me 6 months to get going after DD was born!
