Today I am especially grateful for:

* Beverlyjoy for starting the Nov. thread

* I got through Halloween without eating any candy. I thought that it would be out of sight when I got up but was disappointed to see the bowl of leftovers on the kitchen table this morning. I left a note for DH and DSs that if it was still there when I get home tonight, it will go in the garbage. I feel sure that it will be gone.

* That I live in a land of plenty even though that plenty made plenty of me.

* Comfortable home

* Family, friends, indoor plumbing, 3FC, Cell phones and Internet

Since I have been absent for a few days I went to the October thread to read what has been happening. Reading this thread is also inspirational. I saw where someone CLOSED the thread...which is great for me...because many months I have had to have someone come and lead me to the right month!

Today I am grateful for:
  • Beverlyjoy that starts this thread every month
  • the inspiration this thread provides
  • my sister now understands that VA is where she needs 2 B
  • the willingness to TORPEDO unhealthy foods
  • quiet of home

- 2 healthy, happy little boys who make me laugh
- A Hubby willing and able to work so that I can stay home with my kiddos
- Hot showers on a cold fall morning
- That the black eyeliner for my costume came off my cheeks!

One big gratitude to chat about today. My life seems to have become overwhelming. This morning I had a mini melt down in bed before I got up. I was crying and praying and asking for help and I didn't know who to call or what to do. After I got up I went about my day and had decided to do what was in front of me and I was making plans. As I poured my bowl of cereal the phone rang. It was Monica, a gal that works for me, and she wanted to know if I had anything for her to do on the "time clock" ... they didn't need her at work but she needed the $$. Do I need her help? Thank you dear Lord for sending her my way and for the luxury of being able to pay her and keep her on the time clock. I get her for 2 hours and I am ever so thankful and grateful!!
