Default help deciding on long term goal

i think i could be happy/comfortable with myself losing another 10,20,30 pounds. technically i could lose close to 100. that would be 130. that's lower than my hs freshman wt. and i looked great at 140/150. not sure if i want/need/should go to 150? i know that's just an estimate, it matters more about muscle tone and frame. i think i build muscle pretty easily. not sure on frame. maybe it's a mix of hips like a hippo and almost non existent wrists and ankles.

what do think? is it possible to go down to 150 or even lower? i'm also a mom with 3 kids. almost 30.

I am the same height , weight and age as you and I plan on being around (hopefully less than) 140. But everyone's goals are different. You should go to where you are comfortable.
I had two c-sections and still have numbness/sore scaring and an inflamed uterus. I hope it doesn't make it harder for me (the last section was almost 7 months ago). My goal right now it to lose 15 lbs, then I will make another short term goal.
Best of luck.

I would try to shoot for a goal where you feel happy and you're healthy! I'm 5'4" as well, my current goal is 140...that might be a tad higher or lower once I get closer. But 140 will put me at a BMI of 24 (healthy). Just do what makes you feel good and makes you healthy! Also, maybe start with shorter goals, like 15 or 20 pounds and go from there! Good luck!

I'm the same height and I THINK I put on muscle pretty darn well. Just a theory! But at 160ish pounds I'm wearing an 8/10...suddenly more 8's than 10's. I have my sight set on 135 mainly because that's 100 pounds lost and 10 pounds into the normal weight category for someone 5'4". But honestly, I'm pretty happy where I am.

thank you.

yes, short term goals for sure! sometimes daily haha! i'm starting the biggest loser challenge this week. that will help alot. it's my first one. most of my weight was lost without internet support. it makes a huge difference though!

also, i think i'm a mesomorph. i'm not meant to be really skinny. and i'm not apple shaped either. i lose wt in my tummy first.

well, in alot of ways i'm happy where i am too. but i know i can do better, and my muscles are still hiding.
but emotionally/my head. thats the most important. feel like i'm where i should be most days. thinking healthy binge free thoughts majority of the time. and not least....i'm FINALLY doing it. losing the weight i've been talking about for sooo long! so even on a 'bad' day. i remind myself of that, and feel proud.
