Default Don't forget the "2010 weight loss challenge" update

How are you all doing? I've lost 45 pounds this year! And 7 this month which I am VERY happy with because that seven pounds actually all came off the last two weeks.

I've updated mine. 10.5lbs this month!!! The most I've done all year in a month, not quite sure how except that I had a huge whoosh this last week.
Lost 70.5lbs in total this year for a total of 121.5lbs, with 7.5lbs to go to my initial goal.

Dang! You are on an absolute roll! You must be so proud of yourself!

Weight loss has been so slow lately. It certainly does slow down, doesn't it?

Terre, that's amazing! You are a fast loser! (Probably doesn't feel like it to you! )

My husband is losing again, thankfully. (Not that I care...but he does) Our son...well...he's tough. LOL! Children and weight is just difficult, especially when they don't want to yet.

I just looked back at my numbers. Since January I have literally seen every decade across two months each and every time. So 200's two months, 190's two months, 180's two months, etc. I can not seem to break that cycle.

Ah well...it means I'll see my goal decade of 130's by March! I can handle that! Just in time for a wedding I'd dread going to otherwise.

My goodness!!! LM, Terre, and Eliana, you guys are all doing just absolutely amazing!!! I definitely feel put to shame....

I looked at my stats and I've lost 43 lbs this year... so not quite five pounds a month... which, is about one pound a week.... but I've spent the entire month of September bouncing around 187... and with my moving and all my eating has been fair to good but exercise very much lousy. I'm running about three times a week, but in a kind of sporadic and not very organized way.... I can tell my fitness has fallen off from it's peak and that's probably why I'm not losing as well.

I've gotten a mindset that I'm stuck and not going any further, but seeing you guys making steady progress on down the scale has really inspired me.

Well, I so far have lost only 60 pounds this year. That is about 25-30 pounds off target for what I wanted to be at by the end of the year. I just keep plugging along though.

Uber, I had to drop my calories pretty low to start losing again, but now that I have I lost three pounds last week and three pounds this week. I think my body just got too small for the calories I was consuming. I was still "on plan" but my plan had to change.

Frustrating, I know!
