Yippee! I'm celebrating a new decade today and I've now officially lost 20lbs since I started with Dr. Poon on August 12th.
Kris -- Thank you for sharing that story. My brother in law took his life in 2007 and it broke my heart, I wish he could have seen how important he was to so many people through his depression. So glad you had an intervention and are here with us!
Kristi -- Ahhh...out of town! It was driving me nuts trying to figure it out lol. Awesome whoosh for you today!
Jennie -- Happy anniversary!
Love -- The dress looks stunning on you! I vote for going to get it again. Maybe another store has a size 10l, they will normally ship it to your local store for nothing.
Akelly -- Congrats on your 1.6!
Morning Diana!
Ona - Hope you feel better soon.
Star - Nice loss, 1.4!!

I see you all are doing fabulous!! Keep it up ladies you are doing great

Apparently the 190s aren't so keen to let go of me just yet... I'm up 0.4 to 191.6 which could really be any combination of things. Let's see, I didn't really have a during my 2 day whoosh, I was drinking water until about 10ish last night, I didn't go to sleep until 1ish and woke up at 5:45, oh right and there's that bloody cake I decided to bake yesterday Oh well, everything's good in moderation. Here's what I think, just because we're getting rid of the excess pounds, doesn't mean we have to let go of everything we love as long as we find a way to work it into our plans and we stay accountable and don't overdo it. So ha, take that you 0.4, I will get rid of you!
Angie WTG, you're doing oh so well. Congrats on the 20 down and the new decade!
Shylah Good for you for getting back on track! You can do this.
Ona Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Great job staying on track through your cold.
aKelly The trails are probably gorgeous at this time of the year, when the leaves are just starting to turn. I'm kind of jealous! Enjoy it for me will ya?
Kristi You're going back in the right direction. Good for you!

Hi Everyone!
My scale is possessed this morning. 240.0 Up 2 lbs from yesterday. Sigh....really? I did not eat 7000 extra calories yesterday. Stupid scale. Seriously, it's like the 240's just can't let go. Grr!!
I was on plan yesterday and will be again today.
Be back at lunch time for personals.

13 ~ 219.2
14 ~ 218.4
15 ~ 218.4
16 ~ 218.4 (I think it's about time for this number to go down)

Anyone remember the Tums commercials where you hear "Tum, T, Tum, Tum, Tum"? Well when I stepped on the scale today in my head I heard "TOM, T, TOM, TOM, TOM."

If anyone with a sweet tooth is interested in an Apple Crisp recipe that is only 90 calories per serving, let me know. I just came across a really easy to make recipe that I think I'm going to try out on hubby tonight!

Ona - glad to hear you are feeling better! I'm confident you stall will end soon
StarGetsFit - phew! Glad that higher number didn't stay for too long Congrats on the wedding ring, what a great NSV!
love2b - I have to agree with everyone, the dress is pretty fabulous on you!!
Angie - woohoo! Congrats on entering a new decade!!
Kukkie - I agree, it's all about moderation, and if you can find a way for it to be in your plan, do it! My body doesn't seem to believe in that, but my mind does! I'm sure that .4 is just from the little amount of sleep you had, get some more sleep tonight and you'll knock those 190's away!
Vixsin - Don't worry about those 2 pounds, it could be from something little, like bathroom issues, too much sodium, not enough sleep.. etc.. I'm sure you'll be down tomorrow!
Kris - you and I are in the same boat today, only I haven't gotten on the scale yet. I mostly just hate TOM because it means the scale won't be moving down for a few days Well and cramps!
I will bbl with my WI.. we'll see what that'll hold, ugh TOM!

Oh SNAP! DISAPPOINTED! This always happens to me, I get moving along nicely and a week before TOM I get hit with water gain and bloat. I haven't changed anything, been exercising and staying OP. Luckily, I know this will go back to 205 soon afterward. I am trying to be accepting today!
Kristi- You are doing great! Nice loss!
Love- The dress is awesome on you - I love the ruffles!
Akelly - WTG on your drop!
Ona - I hope you feel better soon and break your stall! I am rooting for ya!
Star- Yay! What a great bonus for you today!
Angie- AMAZING! Congrats on your 20 lb success! Keep it up girl!
Kukkie - I love your take on life!
Vixsin - Ugh! I am with you hun! Let's keep chugging along together!
Kris- Thanks for sharing your story, you are so strong! (((HUGS))) Oh and yeah, I hear that same "Tum, T, Tum, Tum..." song in my head today. Bummer! Let's hope we get past the TOM gain quickly!
Well ladies, I hope you all have a great OP day! I think about all of you know daily when I am tempted to go off plan or not exercise! I guess that is accountability! It is really motivating to me, having you all here sharing your daily struggles and success! Keep it up!

Hey Diana, here's the recipe! I just realized I have to drop my parents to the airport tonight and then have class tomorrow night, so I won't get a chance to make it anytime soon. If you make it before I do, let me know how it turns out!
Ingredients
2 Cups sliced apple (peeled and cored)
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
3 tsp Brown Sugar
1/4 cup water
1 pkg Quaker Instant Oatmeal 33% less sugar (Brown Sugar Cinnamon flavor) Not Prepared
Directions
Core and slice apples and place in baking dish. Combine brown sugar and water and pour over apple slices. Toss to coat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and Instant Oatmeal. Bake, uncovered for 15 minutes at 425F. Remove from oven and stir. Return to oven for an additional 10 minutes. Serve immediately or allow to cool before serving.

Yup! TOM is full force! UP 1.1, and I feel puffy and gross! And it puts me back into the 260's, even if it is barely
Lnoelparis - We gotta be positive about TOM, think about the fabulous whoosh we'll get at the end! If we stay 100% on plan, we'll definitely see some pre-tom weights I think!
Kukkie - looks yummy!
Matilda - it is quite the group to keep up with, when I'm working all day I miss SO much and it takes me a while to catch up!

Kukkie -- It's just a small set back, don't worry, you've been doing so well lately! I'd can't wait to try your apple crisp recipe
Star -- That's awesome, you must be elated!
Vixsin -- Ahhh! Evil scale! You're doing everything right, so don't worry it will come right off again.
Kris - Lol @ Tom T Tom...
Aimee - Sorry about the gain, but you know what it is at least. Don't let it hold you back or get you down.
