Default NSV's!!!

I have been maintaining for most of the summer and feeling really good about that. It's not been much of a struggle, so I feel like I'm really embracing this new way of life. Woohoo!

I went for my yearly physical and I can't begin to tell you how well that went. My doctor was soooo happy with my lab numbers she took me off my cholesterol meds (cholesterol so good she gave me an A+ on that!) and we're working on weaning me off my BP med. She just kept telling me how good I looked, and at one point she told me she could see me keeping the weight off for good. She is so supportive, I really appreciate her and told her so.

Went for a mini vacation to see my sister and her husband. They spent the entire time telling me and/or my husband how amazing I looked. Now, that normally would be awesome but coming from them it is amazing. They never give out compliments. It's like a point of pride with them to never say
anything complimentary. So to have them repeatedly compliment me was just incredible. They also have been asked by their doctor to lose weight and they've been very successful too. The nice thing about that was that we were all on the same page and very supportive of each other. I could really tell they had worked hard and they were looking so good too. It was really nice to compliment them and let them know how their hard work was paying off.

Between the good news at the doctor's office and a fabulous visit with relatives I'm riding high and feeling very good about myself these days.

Thanks for letting me share my victories

That is wonderful to hear - especially the medical news because that is the most important reward in this whole process: good health!

The news about your family being so supportive and complimentary is also really great to hear!!!

Congratulations!!!!
