Crazy burst of appetite!

So before this week [with the exception of chasing little boys while nannying and walking all around campus], I've led a mostly sedentary lifestyle. Walking to and from my car, and to/from class was about the most of it.

Yesterday I had my very first YOGA CLASS which I was totally pumped and excited about. :carrot: <--- I really was doing this dance for a little while lol.

Anyways, it was actually a pretty big workout for me simply because I don't generally move by myself at home. So last night, I ate an entire meal that I would normally eat [fairly healthy] and discovered I was still STARVING. Like, I was so hungry it was unbelievable.

So I was a good girl....and ate a Fiber One bar with a glass of milk. It worked, but now I'm starving again this morning lol. Must up the protein!!!

All in all, I'm just amazed at what Yoga and walking miles around campus to get to all my classes is doing to my body. I started this week at 244 and as of 10 min ago, I'm officially 243 :) Not much, but definitely encouraging!!!!!!

Good for you! You'll get used to the appetite increase. I fought it for a few weeks and eventually my body gave in and I stopped getting so hungry. I curbed it with more protein frequently throughout the day so I never was actually hungry. For me it's kind of like being thirsty...by the time I feel the pangs it's too late.

Yeah...I'm trying to preempt the hunger pangs by making sure I drink enough water and carrying around healthy snacks with me [baby carrots, Fiber One bars, granola, nuts, etc]. I know this is good, but it's rather alarming that my appetite jumped that dramatically in just a day of exercise.

I'm taking it as a good sign that my metabolism may be revving up though!
