Today ends Week 1. According to the scale, I lost 7.2 lbs. I know not to expect that every week...but it was nice for a start.
Also, my husband came home today. He has been out of town. I find it harder to eat healthy when he's home. On the phone the other night, I was telling him that we need to eat better and that I'm counting calories (again). He brought me home 3 books - one was an Eat This, Not That book, one had calorie counts for fast food and restaurant items and one was calorie counts and portion sizes for just about everything. I thought that was pretty sweet and supportive of him.
