I just realized......
Sorry if this is gross.....but I just realized these last 4 weeks of my new life that I haven't woke up once in the middle of the night because food I binged on before bed was coming up while sleeping! I called it acid reflux, but it hasn't happened once since eating sensibly and eating normal portions!!
Also, I sleep better! I can't wait to see how I'll feel without the extra 100+ pounds I carry around.

Only certain things ever "sneak up on me" at night.... sadly it never came from binging, just certain foods. It is nice to figure out which ones and have it stopped!
Congrats.. you are doing great!!

I used to have to sleep propped up all the time. Otherwise I'd wake up choking on half digested food... ugh. HATED that. Don't miss it AT ALL.

I slept with a bottle of Mylanta on my bedside table and would chug a lug it during the night. I had HORRIBLE heartburn/reflux.
And that completely ceased from DAY ONE. DAY ONE! So I was reaping rewards right from the start.
Gosh, it gets me crazy thinking what I was doing to myself. Why did I think it was okay to eat like that?!?!?

Oh YES! Isn't a good nights sleep WONDERFUL!! This too was one of my first results (non-scale MEGA victory) from my healthy way of life. That and my poor puffed up feet and ankles returning to a normal-fat. I remember thinking, "IF I feel this good now, I can't wait to see how good I feel in a year." Oh boy, I was NOT disapointed.
I can't wait for you to enjoy all the new found freedoms weight loss has to offer! Keep up the great work.

It's not gross at all, congratulations! I remember that awful burning feeling in my chest after eating junk and I wouldn't be able to lie down with it. I also hated how bloated I felt when lying down for sleep and feeling like I was being crushed by my chest and stomach.

I look forward to lying on my back again! Whenever I lie on my back I feel like I can't breath and am going to have a hear attack. Another thing to look forward to!

What a lovely thing to hear!! About your acid reflux thing anyway, definitely not about how hard it is to lie your back. That will come soon I'm sure! Ahh the simple things in life, right? Lol.

Not only not waking up with what we thought was acid reflux, but not waking up in the middle of the night sweating. When I would binge before I went to bed, I would wake up in the middle of the night hot and sweating. It wasn't hot flashes, just all the food I was loading up on.
