Default teasing the body??

my BIL swears by doing this to help lose weight .. so yesterday i made an hour work out of it i did 20 mins cardio, 20 mins weight training and back to 20 mins cardio .. does anyone else work out like this?? he swears this is what i need to do to achieve a better weight loss .. and let me admit that i didn't make it to the gym this morning i was really worn out and sore .. lol it is totally different then just going and doing an hour of cardio .. but he said 3 days a week would be good and i can manage 3 days haha
I will no longer allow myself the choice to be unhealthy and overweight!!

One for every 5 lbs lost!!

I exercise like that mostly to mix it up. I don't like doing the same thing for a long time. I don't think there's any magic to it, though.

I've heard that before. The new-er of the Biggest Loser workouts actually uses that idea. Lots of weight training is combined in with their cardio. The idea behind it is that the more muscle groups you use at once the more calories get burned. Plus by building up your muscles you'll be burning more calories at rest.

I used this workout my first go round, but it made me really sore. Really, really sore, to the point I dreaded the workouts, so take your time. I started at 30 minutes. Maybe do this for only 30 minutes than take the extra 30 for a different cardio activity till you build up.
