Hi all. I know I haven't been on the site much, I have been really busy over the past few weeks. But I did want to share this article that was written about my family and a few others that was in our news paper today. It even has a picture if me and my girls.

Again, thank you for all your support. I am so happy to say that my husband will be at his home unit a week from today and then home for good only a couple weeks after that.

Bella - what a nice picture of your family. I'm so glad he's coming home!! :) I can remember when you 1st came to us, how long has he been gone. I thought he was supposed to be gone for 2 years, hasn't it only been a year.

Bella, you and the kids look great! It is wonderful that your dh is coming home, I'm sure that it will be quite a thrill for your girls to have daddy home again!

What a beautiful picture!!! wonderful kids. I also had no i dea of the other people affected with this. never thought of the reservists and their deployment of them, the financial impact of that. my heart goes out to you and your family and others suffering the same fate!!

What a lovely picture of you and your beautiful little girls. I'm so glad dh will be home in such a short time (probably still seems long to you) and your life can hopefully take on a more normal routine. You've carried a lot on your shoulders (and added more recently with school and your business) and it will surely help things go better when M. is home.

Side note: I live less than an hour from you and occasionally go to the OTB in your town.

My husbands orders were for no more then 2 years. But there has been a rumor that they will get re-deployed in 60-90 days. So we have our fingers crossed that they are wrong! But we can't tell because of the war Bush wants to get us into.

(if you can't tell, I'm not a big fan of his right now)

Okay...I'm SUCH a dork! I'm reading the caption and though "hmmm....I thought her name was Bella?" Okay...well, if we ever meet in person I will probably call you Bella rather than Amanda (BTW, my niece's name is Amanda.)

Bella, it's the Off Track Betting place out near 81. We're not wild gamblers or anything but dh does like to watch horses and we go there sometimes for lunch.

Anagram, maybe we can get together some time. I'm only about 15 min away from OTW. I have been there once and won $40.00. We stopped there. lol.

Would be great to meet up with you sometime. Or perhaps on one of your trips to Carlisle - though I hope they're over for you once hubby comes home. My two year old granddaughter is also named Amanda.
