I used to support 3FC by going through a link here to make my purchases from Amazon. They got a certain percentage of the sale. Does anyone know if that is still available?

It doesn't offend me really...just think it's pretty funny how the lady shrinks but her boobs actually grow. MAN I wish that had happened with me...

I thought 3fc got bought by a company? So if we click ads or links it is just supporting a big corporation? Just curious, because to me that is a different concept than supporting a small, personally owned message board, although I do appreciate the board either way.

Funny...I just realized that by putting "1 tip for a flat belly" in this post...that is what ad Google AdSense is putting here. I think I will download Firefox for my computer at home. I notice though, I already have Firefox as my browser here at work and still see the damn ad. I fiddle around with it to see if I can get rid of ads.

3FC is owned by the same company that owns Fitday and a few other health/fitness related sites.

I wouldn't click on ad links but I also wouldn't go out of my way to block ads. A big site like this costs quite a bit money and people time to run (which is one reason it was sold). The ads generate revenue to pay the people as well as the cost to host the site.

Michelle - you have to have the Adblock add on. If you go to Firefox's addon site you can search for it.

Yes, ads generate revenue, but honestly I don't care. If I find an ad to be offensive / annoying, I block it. I don't do it to all the ads, but some I just can't stand to see period.

You can also use the Add-on called Web Developer (for Firefox). I use it to block all colors and images (temporarily) to prevent nosy coworkers from knowing what I am reading. Right now, this entire site is in black and white for me with no images/banners.

I hate the ad, too. Especially when accessing this site at work. Kind of looks odd on a work computer.
