Talking I just walked my first 5K!!!!!!

I am so proud of myself. I didn't do it all that fast, 68 minutes, but that's my goal...to keep getting faster at it. I thought I was going to die, but now that I'm done I FEEL GREAT!!!! Yay for NSV's!!!

Way to go!!!

I walked my first one a few years ago, and I was so proud of myself.. sadly I gave up on myself back then, and never got that far last year after my last baby before I gave up again. Tonight, I'm going to the park with the nicest path.. where I did my first 5K.. tonight I'm going to do 1/3 of it

That's so cool! Congratulations!

I finally made my three miles last week! (I also learned that the treadmill turns off on its own at the Y at 60 minutes) I have also learned good shoes are worth it!

Again: HIGH FIVE!!!!

Great! Walking is such an awesome activity! It helps relieve stress, gives you time to meditate, allows you to experience nature and the outdoors, builds both muscle and cardiovascular endurance, and improves your mood. There are absolutely no negatives with walking! It also takes no special equipment.

The more you walk the easier it becomes. Walking helps you lose weight and as you lose weight walking becomes easier

I'm just getting home from a nice long walk myself and feel great!
