Cheryl - I haven't taken a long car trip since I've been weighing regularly but I always get stiff and sore sitting in a car for a long time, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if some water retention was involved. Try to get in some extra water today and help get rid of it!

down to 225 from 226.6. My first reading was 224.6 but after my shower it was up to 225 so I will use the higher number.

At 225 I hit my 2nd 10% mark and 25lbs.

Holy crapola. I'm far behind. That's what I get for not logging on all weekend. I didn't weigh either. I was bad. Damn Easter weekend! Lol. I decided to do one day of OP eating and then weigh in tomorrow. I don't think I'll have made a difference from my ticker weight, but hopefully? We'll see. I know right now it's not a good number, I feel it. I see other people did pretty well though (didn't have time to read the 3 pages I missed!!)

Mom23, Why do you use the high number? LOL! The after shower weight was probably because you were still wet, or sometimes I think gravity sets in. I'd take the lower number, definitely. I always weigh more after a shower too. My hair holds onto quite a bit of water!

Angihas2 - what pain meds are you taking? I thiknk mine are making me retain, too. I started taking them a few weeks ago, and I feel like my body is just holding on to what I drink.

MomtoThree - what? Take the lower number, woman! The aftger shower weight includes water that hasn't evaporated yet. It's like drinking a big glass of water before hopping on the scale! Congrats on the second 10% and and 25 lbs!


I'm up to 238.6 today (up 1.2 from yesterday) but I was totally expecting it. I didn't eat poorly yeasterday (though I didn't track the calories), but there was a lot of salt in the food and I didnt' drink nearly as much water as I'm used to. Also? I'm pretty sure Aunt Flo is coming for a visit any time now. I'm not worried about it. I expect to be back down a bit tomorrow.

I went to a new GP today for a regular physical. He was proclaimed me healthy. His scale read a lb less than mine, how often does that happen?

I put up a new profile picture if anyone is interested. Me dressed up for church yesterday. Its been several years since I last wore a skirt, NSV for me. Ignore the funny look on my face, and I'm not wearing my glasses.

OK... I am so not happy with today. Up today to 172.4 from 171.4 ... and I am being SO good...its painful. I really wanted 170 this weekend.

Raw veggie wrap for lunch, large salad with FF dressing for dinner, banana for a snack, lots of water... ARGH.

Doctors appt today - their scale said 173, but they are never right.. and I was dressed. I'm healthy- just overweight.

I haven't exercised today yet...and I'm losing motivation.
