Thanks... I don't think I'll say anything ahead of time. I may say something when we are together about how I have been working on it... but I think I might feel weird trying to warn him about it. I dunno... besides that, my other friends aren't the type to comment on my weight loss, even if they notice it.

As for the prep--- I actually did get my hair cut and colored this past weekend and did buy myself some new makeup and a nice outfit and shoes. ...I guess that's as ready as I'm going to get.

I agree with not saying anything. If I went to visit a friend and they said 'umm, I've gained weight', my response would be 'so?' Guys don't notice things a lot of time anyway.

I have to say I've felt uneasy too about meeting old friends. I've always had a weight problem but I'm bigger now than I've ever been. I even untag photos others put of me on Facebook in case my old friends look. That's really sad and vain isn't it? Anyway, I understand what it's like to be apprehensive. But go have fun.

Everyone changes. You never know. He may be fat, bald, and/or wrinkled. Would you still be happy to see him regardless? He is coming because he wants to see you. Do what you can to be comfortable like getting new outfit, haircut, lipstick, control underwear if that does the trick.
